About FindParker.org

FindParker.org was created to bring important information about Parkers disappearance together in one accessible, organized and easily shareable place.

During a missing-person search, information can quickly become scattered across police updates, social-media posts, community groups, conversations, flyers and reports from volunteers. My goal is to help organize these resources so people can find what they need quickly, share accurate information and contribute more effectively to the search.

FindParker.org brings together:

• Confirmed information and reports that are clearly identified as unconfirmed
• Photos and updates that can be easily shared
• Printable flyers for community distribution
• Guidance on how members of the public can help
• Access to the volunteer search map
• Important locations and reported sightings
• A simple way to submit and access potentially relevant information

The website is intended to complement community efforts, not replace official police channels.

Any information that may directly assist the investigation should always be reported to the Calgary Police Service.

As the father of an autistic child, I understand some of the behaviours, communication challenges and vulnerabilities that autistic children may experience.

When I learned that Parker was missing, I felt that I needed to help.

I arrived in the area around Centre Street and McKnight Boulevard at approximately 9:00 p.m. on July 17 and remained there until around 4:30 a.m. I returned later that day at approximately noon and continued participating in the search until around 5:00 p.m.

During those hours, I travelled through several areas by car and on foot, spoke with people involved in the search and observed some of the challenges faced by volunteers attempting to coordinate their efforts.

There were many people willing to help, but important information was distributed across multiple locations and platforms. Updates, sightings, searched areas, printable materials and volunteer resources were not always easy to find in one place.

That experience made me realize that one of the most useful contributions I could make was to create a tool that organizes this information and makes it easier to access, share, print and understand.

I also spoke with the person who initially saw Parker.

According to that person, Parker was first walking east before turning and heading west. After that point, however, he could have continued in any direction.

I believe that reviewing security-camera, doorbell-camera, business-surveillance and traffic-camera footage from the surrounding areas is especially important.

Following Parkers movements through available footage may help establish a clearer timeline, identify the direction he travelled and give search teams a more focused area to investigate.

FindParker.org helps communicate this need and encourages residents and businesses to review relevant footage before it is automatically deleted or overwritten.

My original plan was to build a much more complex application with advanced tools for volunteer coordination, mapped search coverage and information management.

However, in a situation like this, speed is more important than perfection.

I decided to publish a useful and accessible version of the website as quickly as possible. I will continue improving it, correcting information when necessary and adding features that may support the search and strengthen collective efforts.

FindParker.org is an independent volunteer initiative.

It is not an official Calgary Police Service website, and it should not be understood as an official website operated by Parkers family or any official search organization.

The project was created in good faith to organize publicly available information, support volunteers and help important details reach more people.

Every effort is made to clearly distinguish confirmed information from unconfirmed community reports and to direct potentially important evidence to the appropriate authorities.

FindParker.org is being developed and maintained voluntarily.

Contributions may be used to help cover expenses related to:

• Development tools
• Technical infrastructure
• Future features that may assist volunteer search efforts

Contributions made through this page are not donations to Parkers family, the Calgary Police Service or any official search organization. They are intended solely to support the operation and technical development of FindParker.org.

Financial support is never required. Sharing verified information, reviewing camera footage, distributing official materials and supporting Parkers family are equally meaningful ways to help.
